Useless full stop, if you really look at what's happening now or do an inventory of people in your life who've had Covid (and can compare unvaxxed vs. vaxxed incidences and experiences of illness). In my experience, the whole thing has been pretty random, with some vaxxed people feeling fine, some getting super sick, some unvaxxed people fine, some feeling super sick etc. I can't see a pattern at all that proves the vaccines helped or not being vaxxed put you in any extra danger, at least not in terms of where the virus is at this stage. Maybe it was different with the earlier strains, though, and perhaps with extremely vulnerable. Though my mother in law who is unvaxxed just got it and even as a cancer survivor she had only a mild case, while her unvaxxed elderly friend had a heart attack and died after contracting Covid. So it is hard to say....
